I’m not quite sure where to start with this wedding…it was just so darn gorgeous! Lovely people, beautiful day, amazing locations, seriously sooooo much fun. Lauren and Travis were prepared to take a bit of a risk, trusted me a little too much and the results were pretty spectacular. I also had a car full of glitter for weeks and weeks after – but hey, the price we photographers pay.
And one thing you may notice as you scroll through the photos…no bridal party! They kept things simple, uncomplicated and celebrated just the two of them in beautiful style. It also made adventuring just that wee bit easier.

Lauren and Travis were married under the iconic elm trees at Brown Brothers in Milawa and then celebrated the night away across the road in Brown Brothers historic barn. Laurens bouquet and all of the flowers featured at the ceremony and reception were provided by Alice at Floral Harvest in Yarrawonga. So much talent and such gorgeous natives!

That dress, those shoes and THE crown! ENJOY!

Completely in love with the end result… THE ALBUM!
The perfect way to present such a beautiful wedding collection.
You cant hide your images away on a USB – lost in the bottom of the drawer or worse yet…lost forever.
Remember to print your photos!

The cover they choose for their album was such a PERFECT match. Aptly named ‘champagne’…of course!

Isn’t that nicer than ‘just’ a USB?

family farm portraits

“Briony was absolutely fantastic capturing some very heartfelt moments on our farm with our kids.
She made us laugh and we all had such a fun time – we would highly recommend her for any occasion.
Briony you are awesome!”

We had an amazing afternoon out exploring at this Oaklands property.
Letting kids be kids. Pulling crazy faces and playing in the dirt – all a part of farm life.
We spent the last part of the day with just Lyn and Ben – canola and those gorgeous country sunsets – whats not to love!
I got to explore this family’s favourite spots and capture the colour and character of the land they love.

I love photographing on farms and rural properties!
Shooting on rural properties presents some beautiful storytelling opportunities.
Please note that these sessions need to be booked well in advance as I need to block out an entire afternoon or morning, and allow extra time for travel.

When you have a gorgeous photo collection like this – the perfect way to display them is in an album!
Dont leave them hiding away in a drawer, never to be seen again.
This is such a beautiful way to show off your precious photos – you can see this album and more in our Albury studio.

studio newborn

Seriously…does it get any better?!
This session was just so beautiful, and all captured in my beautiful studio space in Albury. Watching these beautiful girls with their new baby brother was just the sweetest thing. Even the threat of newborn poop and a white dress didn’t hold them back – although it was deciding factor when it came to the part of deciding who was going to hold him.
This is Tex…and he will be loved and cuddled and loved on some more by these gorgeous girls.

My favourite parts of a newborn session can be summed up by these images…
I don’t want to put your beautiful brand new baby in a basket and pose them, I want you to snuggle with them, inhale them.
I want to capture the way it FEELS to have this beautiful new soul in your life.
I want to capture YOU as you are, as a brand new family.
Moments are fleeting, they disappear so fast and I want to save those memories for YOU.
So you can revisit them for years to come and feel exactly what you felt right in that moment.

Embrace the flaky skin, the fluffy ears, milk blistered lips and those furrowed foreheads – those teeny tiny details that will disappear so very, very quickly.

If you didn’t already see it – you can re-live the beautiful moments we captured for this families maternity session right > here <.

on location maternity

This was my third maternity session with Carla and it has been so wonderful to see this gorgeous family grow over the years. This session was as much about family as it was their soon to be arrival. Celebrating their gorgeous girls – adventuring, climbing, giggling and chasing each other around – their joyous personalities shining through. It was fitting to follow the light and catch the golden hour with their golden curls, golden souls and a glowing mumma to match!
Carla is an uber talented photographer and graphic designer and has worked with me over the last three years. So it was extra special to capture this beautiful time in their lives!

She also had no idea that dress would be quite so see through in that light – but it was oh so perfect!

“Briony is an incredible photographer. She puts so much effort into every step of the process to get the most amazing images. We are in love with our portraits and can’t wait to get them on the wall. Thanks Briony, you are a genius and we feel lucky to know you!” stolen from facebook

Abigail and Zack were surrounded by their friends and family for an amazing…and a wee bit wet…wedding celebration. Their heartfelt ceremony was held on the property where Abigail grew up, the perfect backdrop for their wedding vows.  As Zack and their guests waited for the bride to arrive the heavens opened and we were all treated to a massive thunderstorm. I’m guessing I wasn’t the only one busily checking the radar for a break in the weather. Luckily the rain cleared and held off for the rest of a rather perfect afternoon!
After the ceremony we explored the gorgeous family farm and were spoilt by the choice of locations – shearing sheds, endless paddocks and of course goats. There really should be more goats at weddings – just saying.
The celebrations continued into the evening at Canvas Eatery in the heart of Albury.
Gorgeous native flowers were the perfect compliment to this wedding celebration –  the woman responsible for all of the floral awesomness was Kate at ODIM.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this little peek into this joyous and fun filled day…
