Kim and Danielle decided to forego the big wedding celebration and instead chose a small and intimate elopement in North East Victoria. With a total of 7 people, including themselves and their parents, they exchanged vows in the vines of Cofield Winery, Wahgunyah. With an intimate celebration and dinner at the adjoining Pickled Sisters Cafe.
Kim wrote about their elopement experience on her own blog – https://kimbospage.com/2019/03/30/eloping-yes-or-no/ – you can read about their beautiful day in her own words and why she loved their decision to elope.
“So Eloping, yes or no? For me it is a huge yes. We had the perfect day with everything we wanted. It was still a lot of planning and organising but by keeping it intimate we could afford those little details that were important to us and ensure to share such a special day with our gorgeous parents. We thank everyone who helped us from the first day we started planning.”
“One thing we were always going to ensure we had was a professional photographer to capture pictures of our special day. The gorgeous Briony Hardinge was our photographer. She made us feel so comfortable and at ease the whole day. Even when I was tired and had enough towards the end she still managed to get me to smile. Briony was also great with Theo even when he kept sneaking into shots. We are also happy that we decided to use Aleesha from McQuilton Productions to video our day. Given we chose to elope it is great to have both pictures and video to share with our friends and family. Aleesha worked around our photographer and was able to capture moments we didn’t even know occurred. We are so grateful to both Briony and Aleesha for capturing our day.
I loved being able to celebrate this beautiful day with these two lovely ladies, their parents and the ever so cheeky Theo. A true honour to be able to capture such a truly special time in their lives xx
