5 steps from shoot to print.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect from your portrait experience.
Step One – Let’s talk
We’ll chat on the phone or over email or in the studio to discuss your wishes, preferences and specifications. During the booking process, we can discuss the ideal location for your portraits to be taken. Do you prefer rustic, vintage, urban, modern, garden, architectural or traditional style?
Step Two – Call to confirm
Two days before your session, I’ll give you a quick check-in call to confirm all the details – timing, locations and where we will be meeting. We can also review the weather and discuss any backup plans if we need them.
Step Three – The big day
The (second) best part of this whole process will be the day we take the pictures. I’ll get to know your lovely family and we’ll see where the session takes us. If you have very young children, we’ll start straight away to save them getting bored. Older kids may need some time to warm up 😉
Step Four – The first reveal
Another (almost) best part – 1-2 weeks after your session, in my studio, you will be able to pick out your favourite photographs from our session. You can look over all of the products we offer and decide how you want to display your images.
Step Five – Your artwork is ready!
Yep, this is the best part – 4-6 weeks after your session, your artwork and albums will be ready to be picked up from the studio and taken home.
